How I met your mother  (HIMYM) is an American sitcom that premiered on CBS on September 19, 2005. The genre of this TV series is comedy drama, which created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. The series was loosely inspired by their friendship when they both lived in New York City. In total they did 204 episodes with 9 seasons. This series is not only became famous in America, they translated to many different languages too. Known for its unique structure and eccentric humor, How I met your mother has received positive reviews throughout most of its run and has gained a cult following over the years. Example in hungary the channel called Comedy Central they have 5 times a week.
