Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls is a famous for its voluminous waterfalls on the Niagara River. It is situated on the international border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York. The world's first large-scale hydroeletric generating station started in Niagara Fall  in 1895. Power plants located on both the American and Canadian sides of the falls, produced nearly 2.5 million kilowatts of elecricity. The height of the Niagara Falls is 51 m.
